During Scottish Affairs Committee last week, which focused on airports and connectivity, representatives of Scottish Airports advised that the UK Governments planned reduction in Air Passenger Duty rates should be introduced sooner than planned, to assist with the industries post pandemic recovery.
Andrew has written to the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak this week to ask that consideration be given to introducing the lower rates sooner than planned, currently next April.
