Andrew is encouraging constituents from across West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine to join an online talk about the restoration of the Elizabeth Tower - Big Ben.
The talk will be led by Gavin Ballantine, Director of Ballantine Castings, a family-run iron foundry based in West Lothian who are involved in the Elizabeth Tower conservation project. During the talk, Gavin will speak about his team’s experiences, specialist techniques they’re using and some of the interesting challenges that come with working on such a unique project.
