Earlier this week Andrew visited Poppies Pre School Nursery in Laurencekirk and later described the visit as "inspiring"
Poppies is an award winning and sector leading Pre School Nursery with a focus on outdoor learning and play. During the visit Andrew was shown around the facilities including the large outdoor learning and play areas which have been specially adapted for social distancing.
Speaking after the visit Andrew said "Listening to Sharon explain the ethos of the nursery and seeing it all work in practice was inspiring. Poppies is a fantastic setting for children to learn and play in and their methods, ethos and way of working is something that could be replicated across Aberdeenshire."
