Earlier today Andrew welcomed Guy Opperman to the constituency and took him on a visit to Castleton Farm and Shop, just off the A90 in the Mearns.
Castleton Farm produces Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Cherries, the most Northern producer cherries in the world. During the visit Guy Opperman was shown the cafe and shop, the production and packaging line and the poly tunnels where the fruit is grown. They discussed the opportunities and challenges of the current climate, with owner Ross Mitchell providing a wealth of feedback on both the agriculture and trade bills that are currently working their way through Parliament.
