Yesterday Andrew wrote to councillors from all parties in the wards affected by SSEN's East Coast 400kV powerline and substation proposals.
Due to the liklihood that these proposals will be put infront of councillors in the near future Andrew recognised the importance that they do not prejudice themselves beforehand. This is due to legal restrictions over planning applications.
However, Andrew urged them to encourage their shared constituents to take part in SSEN's consultation. It is crucial that those who want to share their thoughts with SSEN do so. By doing so it can be ensured that SSEN is able to consider the thoughts of residents in relation to their proposals.
The consultation has been extended until the 28th of July. You can take part here.
